Pumpkin Pie Spice

As I wander through the grocery stores I have noticed pumpkin pie spice is not there anymore! I may not be looking hard enough or maybe it really is not a hot product anymore but I have a recipe that can save you a dollar or two.

A lot of recipes call for pumpkin pie spice and when you can’t find that pre-made spice in the stores you have to go looking for a spice recipe or a recipe with everything individually measured out. Lets make life a little easier and pre-make that holiday necessity.

I found these jars at target and they are perfect for making your own spice mixes. They come in a 4 pack and are 4oz each. Here is the link for these Jars. Target Mini Ball Jars For Spices

These jars are so cute for spices!

This recipe will make holiday baking so much easier! Less trips to the grocery store is a plus in my book.

Pumpkin Pie Spice

1/4 cup cinnamon

4tsp nutmeg

4tsp ginger

1tbs ground allspice

1tbs nutmeg

Measure out all ingredients in a bowl and mix together with a whisk. Use a funnel to pour in to spice jar of choice.
