Have you ever made your own marshmallows? They are fairly easy to make and are so silky smooth. I personally think they are so much better than store bought marshmallows! It does take some time to make them, mostly waiting time but it is well worth the wait. The best part about making your own marshmallows is that you can cut them in to your own cute little designs with cookie cutters or just in to little squares to be simple!
I like to use a pizza slicer to cut my marshmallows because it cuts so much easier than a regular knife. It makes the cutting process much quicker as well.
These sticky treats are amazing for any modification you can think of! Chocolate covered marshmallows, caramel covered, rolled in coconut, and so much more! That is if you can manage to not eat all these sweet treats before decorating or modifying!
During the holidays I like to add a few festive spices such as cinnamon or a few teaspoons of pumpkin spice. You can also add different flavorings like peppermint for a minty candy cane marshmallow!
I could go on for days about how fun homemade marshmallows can be!
